Before reconstitution (powder)

  • The fridge is fine for short-to-medium term
  • The freezer is best for long-term storage
  • Keep it dry and out of direct light

After reconstitution (mixed)

  • Refrigerate at 2–8 °C
  • Most are stable for roughly 28 days; some are shorter
  • Do not freeze a mixed vial
  • Protect it from light

What ruins a vial

  • Heat and being left out
  • Repeated freeze–thaw cycles
  • A contaminated stopper or needle
  • Shaking

FAQ

Refrigerated, most reconstituted peptides hold for about 28 days. Check the guidance for your specific peptide, as some are shorter.

No. Freeze the powder for long-term storage, but keep a mixed vial refrigerated, not frozen.

Lyophilized powder tolerates short periods at room temperature; a mixed vial should be kept cool. Follow the supplier's shipping guidance.
