At Rite Aid brick and mortar locations, if you have an Eligible Card that is authorized to use Membership Rewards® points, you will have the option as set forth below to use points to cover the full amount of your purchase.
1Card Member Eligibility: To participate, you must be a Card Member having a Membership Rewards program-enrolled US American Express Consumer Card, Business Card from American Express OPEN, or a Corporate Card, and be authorized to use points. Click here to view eligible cards.
You will only see the option to use points in Rite Aid stores if you are the Basic Card Member or are authorized by the Basic Card Member to redeem points (as an authorized Additional Card Member). If you are using a Corporate Card, you will only see the option to use points if you are authorized to use points for that Card. Your account must also be in good standing, not in default at time of redemption and have enough points to cover the full amount.
After you use your Eligible Card to pay for a purchase at a Rite Aid Location, you will be presented an option on the payment screen to redeem points, if you have enough points to cover your entire purchase. If you would like to use points, press the “Use Points” button on the payment terminal.
To view your available points balance, go to membershiprewards.com. Point redemption rate may vary for future orders. When you choose to use points for your purchase, American Express will debit from the Membership Rewards program account linked to the Eligible Card the number of points required to cover the total amount of the transaction. Further, a credit in an amount equal to the dollar amount of the transaction will be issued to the Eligible Card account. To view available points balance, go to membershiprewards.com. Please allow 2-4 business days for corresponding credits to be reflected on your Card Account. If a credit is processed after your Card Account statement’s closing date, it will appear on your next statement. If there is a processing error with your choice to use points, your Eligible Card will be charged and the corresponding credit will not be issued to the enrolled Card account. In this event, if you would like to use points for your transaction, please call the number on the back of your Card and we will be happy to assist you
If you decide to use points for your purchase, American Express will share your eligibility to participate in the program, your point balance and the total points used for your purchase with Rite Aid. Rite Aid will see and store this information solely for the purpose of executing this Membership Rewards program. You can opt out of the program by calling Membership Rewards program Customer Care at 1-800-297-3276. If you opt out of this program, this information will no longer be shared.
To reactivate this, simply call the number on the back of your Card and we would be happy to assist you. For more information about how American Express protects your privacy please see the American Express U.S. Online Privacy Statement, available at americanexpress.com/privacy.
